Did anybody notice I was gone?!
On Thursday of last week I left with Cindy (Wonder Twin) and Megan(Meg) on a plane to Burbank CA. This was to be a "work" trip...helping with the wedding of Patty (pole friend), Jenny's baby sis.
Who knew that from the moment of arrival until the moment of departure there would be so many things to do.
Trips to Target, Costco, Ribbon Barn, Downtown L.A. Flower Mart, more ribbon stores, Farmers Market and more.
Lots on this to do list! Thank goodness for Jenny knowing how to keep this girl happy with breaks that included trips for:
- Real yummy chopped salad and hot bread with balsamic and evoo
- Twice to 21 Choices once for cookies and cream and once for animal cookie, (definitely the tastiest flavor of all the choices)
- Sushi and miso dressing on rice
- New Moon and vegetarian moo shoo
- Delicious bagels
- Starbucks - again twice -(makin' wonder twin REAL happy except for the chocolate incedent)
- Pinkberry
- Free bacon for asking nicely & sourdough toast oiled on both sides
It was fun to shop, create, chop, cook, bus, set-up, take down, and finally see all the work come to fruition. Sandy is amazing.(Kind of like Jenny, she's her mom). She didn't leave one thing undone. She planned every detail to perfection! Her vision turned into a beautiful reality. Thanks for having me lend a hand it was a fun weekend in Cali!

Honestly the most beautiful home I have ever seen! Thanks to Nicole and Steve for being so hospitable. You guys have made a magical fairyland there in La Canada!
The Flowers! How cool to shop in the flower district and create such pretty pretty arrangements.
