After hiking five hours in the snow covered trail up the mountain, (5 miles) the boys were rewarded with sloppy joes and a chance to earn the polar bear badge. Strip down to your swimsuit and go completely under in the stream created by snow melt off. Brock told me he wouldn't take part of this before he left. Amazing what a little peer pressure can do.
Even Jason who absolutely hates cold water gave into peer pressure!
No doubt they will wear their badges with pride!
