In the early morning hours of the day, killin' it on the bike at the gym, you learn of available tickets to the D-Backs game. Opening day of the MLB season no less!
After a quick oh heck yes from spouse, a preschool swap, and tickets purchased online J and I were off.
First stop QT for liquid satisfaction. 
Don't even think about being anywhere near Mohave and 16th Street w/o a stop at the best darn hole in the wall for a lunch break, courtesy Carolina's.
Great seats, great game, D-Backs vs. Rockies. Several home runs later, final score AZ 9 CO 8!
Needing to end my date on a sweet note, Coldstone was the perfect answer.
Who knew we would score such rockin' freebies. And to think we skipped on the Pepsi Max. (Not our brand of soft drink choice, even if it was free)
Yep, that's a coupon for three free tacos from Taco Bell tomorrow x's 2! That means one taco per family member for dinner! Totally makes up for the ticket cost! Thank you Diamond Backs, you entertained, filled my day with fun instead of dishes and laundry, and sported my dinner tomorrow night!
No manic Monday for me!
(sucks I'll spend all day Tuesday, making up for Monday, still totally worth it!)
