Since when did my kids get to get out of school so much? Of course I love the little darlings and even enjoy spending quality time with them once in a while, but come on, we just had Monday off. Who's messing with my schedule?!
We made the best of it by heading to the mall for a little afternoon reprieve. I have been dying to get an up close and personal look at the new double decker carousel at Superstition Springs. Holy cannolli! Expensive, three dollars for a short 2 minute ride. Hated saying no when asked for a second go round.
Feeling extra nice today... a stop at the play area, Toys R Us (for looking only) and a prize at The Dollar Store. Doubly nice when I agreed to silly string, only to find it all over my car later. That'll teach me!
