A True Artisit

Art has never really been my thing. Why, I ask? My dad is absolutely amazing, he can create, draw, paint anything. He has been the scenery man for Kelly's Kicks from the get go. No it didn't hurt my feelings one bit when parents would talk about how amazing the scenery was just about as much if not more than how wonderful their child performed my choreography!

Then there is my mom. She can paint and create with the best of them. One of the items I have my name on after she passes this life is a great tole painting that hangs in her kitchen.

My little brother Nick is an artist too! He can and has outdrawn me hands down!

It's fine, I'm not bitter, really. So what the art gene skipped me!

ANYWAY, moving on.

Jenny's dad is an artist. He has earned his living doing so. Did the art gene skip her NOOOOO! Case in point:

Friday night, Houston carnival~ Jenny gets her face painting juices flowing
Creates, bats, fish, spiders, etc.
Children are happy, line never ends all night
By Saturday evening, Jenny had viewed several Internet videos on face painting, purchased the high dollar, hard core official face paints, and Sydney looked like this.................

For a nominal fee you too can have artist Jenny at your carnival making small token figures on faces, or for the big moolah she will come to your party and give you a tramp stamp, I mean, awesome total face creations.
I may not be artistic, but I do have some selling skills. Who will be the first to book this gifted artist?
Cannot forget to mention my one of my nearest and dearest bestest friends in the whole wide world, Ms. Kimberley Skinner Post. She too has an official artist for a father, You know H E Post! (I'm sure he makes one heck of a father in law too)! She is chock full of artistic prowess. The art gene did not skip her either. Whatever, I'm over the fact that I can barely draw a bubble letter........ and any way this post really isn't about me and the talents that I am lacking.
