Exchange

Sydney was doubly excited about her cookie exchange.
She came home with a reminder bracelet stapled to her arm and promptly told me "Mrs. Standage said we have to make the cookies RIGHT NOW, and she said they can't be chocolate chip".
It was a half day and after a trip to Peter Piper and a day full of errands we nearly forgot about cookie making. (Should have listened to Mrs. Stanadge's directions)

Sydney helped unwrap the Andes mints that topped the chocolate cookies and then went to bed.
Yea for the cookie exchange after two trips to the grocery store, an hour of dough chillin', and baking off a few dozen it was nearly midnight before I got to my beauty sleep.

Sydney takes this cookie exchange business seriously.

I sampled several of the cookies and I must say I was mostly disappointed. Still cute and totally fun for the kiddos.

Now excuse me while I go take a nap.

Making cookies is exhausting work.
